Belcorp is a company with a presence in 12 countries in Latin America, and its objective is to promote beauty through personal growth and Únete is the registration platform to become a beauty consultant. As a beauty consultant, she will be able to undertake and generate income through the sale of Belcorp beauty products, accumulate points and obtain prizes.

Process
In our team we are aligned to the User Centered Design methodology, however we have adapted it to our project. With this process we have managed to have a fluid framework that helps us to clarify our role within the project.
Align design objectives with the project
To ensure that the design decisions we make are aligned with our objectives, we hold frequent meetings with key stakeholders to define objectives, key metrics and business expectations, as well as generate scope agreements for each new feature we implement.
Getting to know the user

In this process, we start by reviewing quantitative data to track our key metrics and apply research techniques such as surveys, interceptors, card sorting, and field trips, among others.
We use a timeline for the research with 3 key moments:
- Research to ensure that your designs are truly relevant,
- Research to ensure that your design is pleasant and easy to use.
- Research to understand return on investment of your user experience design.
From the findings we obtain, we proceed to contrast them with the quantitative data and generate hypotheses that feed our work backlog together with the Product Owner.
Challenges

I have encountered challenges at every step of the user journey and we have made design decisions in collaboration with the areas that are part of this project and applying it to the reality of each country’s context.
Take away
The next step will be to implement the new version of the registry in all the countries where we have presence and find out how we can make our recruitment process easier and more pleasant for people, evaluate the option of using alternative channels to the platform, but that are easy for them to interact with, such as WhatsApp.
